About

Between design and code.

I’m Aftab — Principal Product Designer & UX Engineer with 18+ years across visual design, frontend, product UX, design systems, and enterprise software. Teams bring me in when a messy workflow needs to become something people can use and engineers can build.

Portrait of Aftab Khan
Aftab Khan · Hyderabad, India

From design intent to production.

I shape systems and interfaces that carry product intent from Figma into production.

I work most often in enterprise contexts: logistics, HR, healthcare, and finance. I care about structure before decoration — information hierarchy, reusable patterns, accessibility, and the handshake between Figma and React.

Most recently I was Lead Engineer – Design at Sagarsoft India Ltd., working across Figma, React, and React Native. Earlier, I led bilingual Arabic RTL and English LTR experience standards on a major financing product engagement in Riyadh.

Where I’m strongest

  1. Complex workflow and systems UX
  2. Design systems and component architecture
  3. Accessibility-minded product UI
  4. Design-to-engineering collaboration
  5. Bilingual RTL / LTR product experiences
  6. AI product design and AI-native workflows
